Description

Feature request for 1.2

I could see this happening a number of ways but we need to have the ability to preview a post while it's still a draft.

This could be opening a new window that loads a special draft-url-route to the single post stuffed in the engine template

This could be applying the engine template look/feel to the admin view

This could be simply hiding the admin buttons in the admin view and nothing more.

I like the first option, but as a feature this should be discussed / designed before implementation.

Flesh this out and assign to Dan

We did this at the project level for 360. Should we move this to the trunk and make it part of 1.5?

This was implemented by Jake in a client project. Jake, can you check out the feasibility of moving this into the trunk?

Preview opens a new browser window and takes you to the single post page (showSuccess).

If you have editor privileges, you will have the edit button that you always have which can take you BACK to the edit view.

If the post is UNPUBLISHED it will append a -- DRAFT to the title.

If the user is not allowed to edit, they will not see the edit button.

When logged out, UNPUBLISHED posts return an error 404.
