Ticket #311 (closed task: fixed)

The blog plugin has no documentation

Reported by: boutell Owned by: boutell
Priority: critical Milestone: 1.4
Component: apostropheBlogPlugin Version:
Keywords: documentation Cc: geoffd
Symfony version: 1.4

Description

The blog plugin needs a README before it can be 1.0. That README needs to cover installation, creating the admin engine page, how to use the slots, and how to set up public engine pages and lock them to categories. Suggest you give me something really sketchy that tells me stuff I need to know and then reassign this ticket to me for polish.

Notes: document how to create your engine pages and the necessity of doing same. Explain the philosophy behind categories and show how to do category specific engine pages. Don't forget to talk about events. Cover the stuff we added Friday.

Cover the need for apostrophePlugin 1.4 (or trunk) in the README.

The blog plugin documentation is pretty good at this point. Documentation will continue until morale improves.
