John start and end date exists now. If you haven't already can you have the template display them instead.

Tom, I tried and tried to get aDate:: to do something for me and it just wouldn't output dates.

A quick look at it, the date formats that it creates don't seem optimal for the events slots anyway.

We should confer with Rick and Geoff on how the dates should be formatted and make sure aDate can do that for us.

You wording almost makes me wonder if you forgot the 'echo'. aDate methods don't output directly, they return a string you can echo.

Please commit something that's supposed to work and open a bug report for me to make it work if it doesn't

For i18n reasons it would be bad not to use these
