Clicking 'new post' from an engine sets default categories for the post

Description
If you click 'new post' from a blog or events engine, in the future it would be nice if it defaulted to selecting the categories that are displayed in that engine. It's somewhat safe to assume if you are on the 'sports' engine and you decide you would like a new post that it will be a 'sports' post.
This is not critical at all.
