Follow our installation guide with the 1.4 branch, make sure you get a working site with a working blog

Go with the "check out from svn" approach, checking out the 1.4 branch to "demo14" on your box, which you should do anyway. I don't need you to worry about the "from scratch" approach right now, I just want the sandbox validated. Note that the sandbox comes with the blog plugin.

Make sure you get a working blog when you're done - if not open "blocker" tickets and stop the presses.

Tom, I went through the process and everything was fine. I can set aside time to try it with the tarball if you think I should (or if no-one else has already done it), if so reassign this back to me.
