Reported by: tommybgoode Owned by: tboutell
Priority: major Milestone: 1.5.2
Component: sfDoctrineApplyPlugin Version:
Keywords: Cc:
Symfony version: 1.4

Description

Laurynas Malisauskas <laurynas.malisauskas@…>

when sending mail you do not pass encoding for Zend_Mailer
constructor, this creates a bug when sending emails with non-latin
characters in the subject. this is a minor issue because you made it
easy to override the action.

Tom, not sure what the status of this fix is since we should be moving off Zend_Mailer anyway. Please update the ticket if it's no longer relevant.

sfDoctrineApplyPlugin is not part of Apostrophe, so there's no need to triage this at the moment.

The next version of sfDoctrineApplyPlugin will use Swift Mailer and the new version of sfDoctrineGuardPlugin, once it's ready and we can all see whether the apply plugin still makes sense or not and what sort of role it ought to play.
