When Adding a New Page, the template dropdown should set the template

Description

When adding a page, we can set its template.
The template is not set according to user input.

We have to re-set it after page creation.

This ticket regards the template dropdown not working as expected. When a user creates a new page and selects the template, that template selection is not getting passed through to the newly created page.
