Description

This is a friendly nag :)

This makes using trac unpleasant.

I don't know where my tickets are supposed to go because there are multiple you's and me's.

I have moved all tickets off of 'johnnybenson' -- please delete that account before someone assigns another ticket to it.

And move all your tickets to a single Tom account and do the same.

There is a design flaw in trac, it doesn't verify usernames. This can only be fixed by switching to a pulldown of people who are specifically deemed worthy of having tickets assigned to them.

Can Trac accommodate groups?

If I could type CC: Punkave
instead of having to worry about everyone individually,
that would help with this issue somewhat, make using trac easier, and make the ticket stuff dynamic. If we add a new person to the punkave group, they will immediately start receiving CC's for existing tickets;

= awesome.

just let me know where to send my invoice? :D

This is trac's fault, and is unlikely to get systematically addressed before 2.0. Closing this ticket.

Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
