jQuery 1.4.2 Compatibility with Apostrophe

Reported by: rickybanister Owned by: johnnyoffline
Priority: critical Milestone: 1.5
Component: apostrophePlugin Version: trunk
Keywords: jQuery, 1.5rc Cc: johnnyoffline, tboutell, rickybanister, mgrosse, Dana, geoffd, jake, agilbert, dordille, wjohnald
Symfony version: 1.4

Description

What steps do we have to take to verify full compatibility with the latest version of jQuery?

Previously, the blocker was the jsTree component we were relying on to power the Reorganize functionality.

This was tested today and shown to be working with the latest build of jQuery.

What other tests should we do?

jsTree is not our code, and it's relatively substantial such that we're not going to write this ourselves. Do we have any other code packages that we didn't write ourselves that we need to be careful of, verify that it works?

I can test the basic Apostrophe tasks below and confirm the functionality.

- Add Slot
- Delete Slot
- Re-Order Slot
- Create Slideshow
- Cropping Images
- Page Settings

John, please activate the latest jQuery 1.4.x in the trunk. let's all beat on it and use it and if it has to go back before the release of 1.5 stable, it has to go back.
